Since the site used to house a brickyard, brick walls with cut-outs are one of the primary building materials.
The neighborhood includes 185 dwellings. Each unit is highly flexible, and can be configured as a large, open-plan space, or a series of smaller rooms. There are 17 possible configurations.
Each building contains a mixed-use common area.
The neighborhood integrates outdoor public space as well.
The five-building neighborhood was commissioned by the National Housing Trust in Slovenia. Dekleva Gregorič Arhitekti was responsible for the architecture and the landscape design.
