Morris Adjmi Architects designed a hotel for long-term stays in a 1920s building in downtown Philadelphia. Dubbed ROOST Apartment Hotel, the space features comfortable, modern apartments juxtaposed with charming historic touches.
Four layouts are available, though the majority of the 27 units are one-bedrooms. Each contains a full kitchen. The custom millwork and metalwork throughout is by Amuneal.
The historic vaulted ceilings were carefully restored. They constrast the modern herringbone wood flooring. Rates start at $155 a night for monthly visits and $255 a night for weekly stays.
