Studio Bazelet began the renovation by knocking down a wall between the living room and the kitchen. By joining the spaces together, they were able to bring more light into the space.
The clients were expecting their second child and it was important that there was as much space as storage. Studio Bazelet found a clever solution by building a slender closet behind the living room wall and custom furniture with storage.
One of the custom pieces the firm designed is a bench with storage in the living room made from African wood.
Although the color palette is minimal, the couple added bursts of blue and yellow throughout the home in the living room and even the new nursery.
The bedroom is outfitted with a bed and side table from Ikea.
