Interior designer Martine Brisson took to this Quebec country home's terrace with gusto, furnishing it with many of the same amenities one would expect indoors.
A pergola and terrace extend naturally from the main house, designed by architect Bernard Perreault. The residents use the ample outdoor space for dining and relaxing with their children. Back-to-back banquettes anchor the area. The pendants are from Homier Luminaire.
At one end of the L-shaped terrace, Brisson included room for a full outdoor kitchen so the family could prepare meals without stepping inside during the warmer months.
Just beyond the pergola's reach, a narrow pool is heated by direct sunlight.
