The Hanger Folding Chair from Umbra Shift is an innovative chair that calls to one of the most classic storage systems—a simple clothes hanger. Able to fold and hang for storage, this chair is available in several cheerful colors.
The Kryss Chair was designed for the Swedish Embassy in 1975 and features a foldable teak frame and a fabric seat and back. The inspiration for the chair is from the discovery of folding chairs in King Tut’s ancient tomb. It can be used in both indoor and outdoor settings.
First designed in 1955 by Mogens Lassen for the Copenhagen Cabinetmaker’s Guild Competition, the Saxe Lounge Chair is a timeless chair that blends the convenience of a folding chair and the comfort of a lounge chair. It features an oak frame with a luxe, vegetable-tanned leather seat.
With its Directors Chair, Skagerak reimagines the traditional director’s chair with exquisite construction. The chair’s frame is updated from the traditional straight lines of a classic director’s chair with rounded arms that have a gentle curve to accommodate the sitter’s arms when seated.
The H55 Easy Chair is crafted in teak, fabric, and stainless steel. The chair features an adjustable frame that can be raised or lowered to create your desired level of lounging. The canvas seat is accompanied by a head pillow, adding to the chair’s comfort.
Designed by Takeshi Nii, the Ny Rocking Chair was inspired by traditional director’s chairs, and similar fabric chairs from Denmark. The folding rocking chair certainly recalls the ease and simplicity of the director’s chair, but the curving frame and modern silhouette make the Ny Chair a distinctly contemporary furnishing.
