Cheerful and colorful cotton tote

Made from heavyweight 100% cotton in Marimekko’s signature bold and graphic style, the Kompotti Bag is a flat tote designed to travel where you do. Durable enough to bring to the grocery store but stylish enough to bring to the office, the Kompotti Bag is perfect for that extra bit of storage. With a thin profile, this tote is easy to fold and pack into another bag or suitcase, and it is also durable enough to hold groceries, books, or other items. The graphic textile print was designed by Aino-Maija Metsola.

Classic tote with square silhouette and leather handles

Simple and refined, the Amsterdam Bag from Maharam lends casual elegance to modern utility. Made from waxed cotton canvas, the Amsterdam Bag is sturdy and enduring. The interior pocket provides additional storage and organization, while smartly-stitched leather handles add sophistication to the bag. The Amsterdam Bag can be used as a work bag, shopping tote, or oversized purse, and its neutral palette will complement business attire, and casual weekend attire alike. The bag can be handheld or slid over the forearm for a chic look.

Graphic printed tote bag with soft leather accents

The Flag Tote Bag was designed by Alyson Fox in a collaboration with L.A. design studio TOUCH, marrying a classic tote bag with a bold print. Crafted in canvas with soft leather handles and ties, the tote is defined by its graphic print. Fox’s eye-catching print still maintains a minimalist slant, making the tote adaptable to a variety of occasions and outfits. The Flag Tote Bag has two expandable pockets with an inside section that allows you to fit a newspaper or umbrella, making the bag an excellent commute bag. Each tote is hand-printed and sewn in El Salvador, and this blue color way is exclusive to the Dwell Store.

Outdoor-inspired tote bag with backpack straps

The Backpack Tote from Colorado–based Topo Designs is a multipurpose accessory that captures both an outdoor and urban spirit. The streamlined tote is designed with utility in mind, whether it is used running around town or on a day hike. Topo Designs took the silhouette of a classic tote, and added backpack straps so the user can benefit from a two-way carry system, depending on his or her preference.

Simple tote bag with two compartments and simple silhouette

The Twin Bag was designed by Klaartje Martens for Maharam. The bag is made of a waxed canvas, which is a durable, waterproof material with a visual texture. The bag is held by two nylon handles, and features two distinct sections and interior pockets for easy organization. The Twin Bag is reminiscent of traditional tote silhouettes, but it features a visible seam on either side, as well as gently sloped corners. The result is a bag that is at once utilitarian and distinctive, that can be used as a commuter bag, shopper, or even as an oversized purse.
