This July 4th, why not celebrate by bringing an American-made design into your modern home. Our assortment of products includes iconic midcentury furniture from North Carolina’s Thayer Coggin, outdoor-urban gear from Colorado’s Topo Designs, and much more. Check out our ten of our favorite U.S.A.-made designs, and explore the full collection at the Dwell Store.

Classic midcentury sofa and lounge chair

Nearly exact replicas of a sofa and lounge chair designed by Milo Baughman in 1959, the Darren Three-Seater Sofa and Darren Lounge Chair are timeless furnishings that feature a high seat back and an undeniably midcentury modern silhouette. Handcrafted in North Carolina and featuring walnut legs handmade in New York, the sofa and chair adopt the bench-made production method from Thayer Coggin that has been in place since 1953.
