For the second year in a row, Dwell editors have created the season’s must-have resource for gift giving in the Our Favorite Products of the Year Special Issue. Colorful diamond-shaped hand-blown glass vases

Designed by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Iittala, the Ruutu Vase Series is a distinctive collection of hand-blown glass vases. The vases are made from glass that is mouth blown into a steel mold and polished by hand. Due to the difficult nature of shaping the glass, as well as the intensive colors available, each Ruutu is created by skilled craftsmen who take twenty-four hours to produce a single vase.

Rosewood lap table with gold anodized aluminum frame

Taking the classic silhouette from its anodized aluminum tray, Kaymet elevates the look and function with its Rosewood Lap Table. First designed in 1965, the Lap Table includes two side handles for easy transport and folding legs that make the serving tray into a table in one easy step. The Blocks Woven Linen collection from SCP is an artful collaboration between Scottish designer Donna Wilson and People of the Sun, a non-profit social enterprise based in Malawi. The Blocks Woven Linen Basket includes a cover and two handles, making it easy to both conceal its contents and transport it when needed. The baskets are hand-woven by skilled artisans, making each basket one-of-a-kind.

Handmade vegetable-tanned leather keychain

The Infinity Keychain is an elegant personal accessory comprised of vegetable-tanned leather, a copper rivet, and a copper split key ring. The leather includes a smooth exterior and soft touch interior, giving it a pleasant tactile experience when in hand.

The Luxe Carafe Set includes one glass carafe and a coordinating drinking glass, meant to rest atop the carafe when not in use. The set is designed for use on a bedside table, but it can also elevate a master bathroom. Crafted from hand-blown glass, the Luxe Carafe Set is defined by its subtle curves.

Designed by Niels Datema for Serax, the Copper Chemistry Collection employs a sophisticated marriage of materials in glass and copper. The collection includes a carafe and glasses, and can be used as a set or individually. The addition of copper to the streamlined glass elevates the collection from simple to refined, while maintaining the minimalist silhouettes that makes the collection suitable for everyday use.

Sophisticated menorah made from walnut and bronze

Celebrate Hanukkah this year with the elegant walnut menorah from Marmol Radziner. The menorah is handcrafted from solid walnut wood and bronze, giving it a one-of-a-kind quality that is met with a rich, warm look. With illuminated candles, the wood and bronze gives off a soft reflective glow, which is aided by the mineral oil finish to the walnut wood.
