Malle w. Trousseau is a French culinary design company that was founded in 2012 by husband and wife Isabelle Mathez and Fredéric Winkler. Each item created by the brand is inspired by traditional French kitchenware, featuring high-quality items ranging stainless steel tools, wood accessories, and leather goods.

Sophisticated walnut wood bread board with leather tie

With Malle w. Trousseau’s Walnut Bread Board, a classic tabletop accessory meets innovation with a thoughtful design addition. Three of the four sides of the board are surrounded by a wall of walnut wood, preventing crumbs or pieces of bread from falling off the board and onto the floor or another surface. The Bread Board can also be used as a useful tray for serving appetizers, desserts, or even breakfast in bed.

Elegant kitchen apron made of calf's leather

Each Calf’s Leather Kitchen Apron from culinary design label Malle w. Trousseau is expertly handmade by French craftsmen. Inspired by traditional blacksmith aprons, this apron is crafted from durable and supple calf’s leather, which is cut by hand. It includes a hand-tied neck strap and leather cord for a waist tie, giving the apron a rustic, industrial look.

Revolutionary ceramic chicken roaster

An innovative cookware product with traditional origins, the Stoneware Chicken Roaster from Malle w. Trousseau simplifies the process of roasting a chicken. Designed as a simple bowl with a pronounced skewer, the Chicken Roaster allows you to cook a chicken vertically by placing the chicken onto the pick and pushing it down. The structure of the cooker allows for uniform roasting as the heat rises from the base of the roaster and juices running down the bird make the skin crispy. Vegetables can be placed at the base of the bird to create a delicious side dish while the chicken roasts.

Stainless steel conical cruet set

Malle w. Trousseau’s Stainless Steel Oil and Vinegar Cruet Set is designed to keep oil and vinegar out of light, as well as providing an easy-to-control, fine stream in each pour. Each cruet set is made in Portugal by a family-run company, focused on finely crafting quality stainless steel. Each container is structured in a conical shape and the spouts can be repositioned as needed.

Made from supple calfskin leather, the glove and pot holder not only look attractive, but also provide exceptional function. Both the glove and holder include a cotton lining and foam interior, allowing you to successfully hold hot pans and dishes.

Winkler and Mathez came up with the idea for Malle w. Trousseau when their daughter Dalva was leaving home and requested favorite cookware and accessories from the family’s kitchen. Winkler and Mathez reflected on the gift their grandparents received when they got married—a trunk of heirloom-quality kitchen items. The brand now offers a similar trunk in their assortment called Le Trousseau, alongside a series of kitchenware, cookware, and accessories. Every item in Malle w. Trousseau’s collection is handcrafted in France and designed to be passed down from generation to generation, as inspired by the original trunk of kitchenware.
